A Day in the Life...

'My name is Ellie. I have been a boarder and Chorister at Lincoln Minster School for four years.

'Every day I wake up and am so amazed that I am here doing what I love. You would think that it is hard juggling school, choir, boarding and home but I love the variety. You get such a lot of support and everyone makes it fun.

'My life is not boring, that is for sure. Every morning I get up at 7am, have my breakfast and go to choir practice before school starts. On Monday and Thursday the girls sing for Evensong in the Cathedral. We sing one Evensong each weekend, and alternate Sunday morning Eucharists.

'This is my last year in the Choir and I don't want to leave. When you study music here you meet a lot of lovely people who love music as much as you do. Mr Prentice and Mr Harrison are inspiring people and have taught me so much.

'Being at Lincoln Minster School is fantastic and I recommend it to anyone. To get the most out of the opportunities takes hard work and commitment. If you can do all of this you can achieve so very much.'
