A welcome from the Head of Boarding
"Lincoln Minster School is entering a most exciting phase of its boarding development. The recent purchase and refurbishment of the extremely impressive Eastgate House, along with the on-going refurbishment ofour three other boarding houses, is indicative of how our boarding provision is increasingly central in defining the nature of the school. The impact of boarding is to create a 24/7 feel to the school with a vibrant life after school, in the evenings and at weekends.
"As our boarding capacity increases, our priority and focus will continue to be on providing first-class boarding facilities where our boarders feel safe, happy and are kept busy! Such outstanding facilities will, of course, have a huge impact upon the academic progress and all-round personal development of the pupils in our charge.
"The boarding houses are overseen by friendly, caring and understanding residential staff led by me, as Head of Boarding. Medical care is available within the school from our own School Nurse, who makes a significant contribution to the care and welfare of our boarders. Indeed, we pride ourselves on the quality of pastoral care provided by our experienced and well-qualified boarding staff.
"Lincoln is a perfect city in which to be educated and to live, with such inspirational surroundings and well-documented history and heritage. We are so lucky to have our school and boarding houses located in the middle of such a historical and rousing environment.
"Please do take the time to navigate through the boarding section of the website. I am sure that you will be impressed with what you read! If you do have any further questions, I am more than happy to be contacted to discuss any areas of our boarding provision here at Lincoln Minster School."
Mr Nigel Willetts, Head of Boarding, Housemaster Senior Boys Boarding House
