Welcome to Boarding at Lincoln Minster School: a home from home
Lincoln Minster School is entering a most exciting phase of its boarding development. The recent purchase and refurbishment of the extremely impressive Eastgate House, along with the ongoing refurbishment ofour three other boarding houses, is indicative of how our boarding provision is increasingly central in defining the nature of the school. The impact of boarding is to create a 24/7 feel to the school with a vibrant life after school, in the evenings and at weekends.
As our boarding capacity increases, our priority and focus will continue to be on providing first class boarding facilities where our boarders feel safe, happy and fulfilled. Such outstanding facilities will inveitably improve upon the academic progress and all-round personal development of the pupils in our charge.
The boarding houses are overseen by friendly, caring and understanding residential staff. Medical care is available within the school from our own School Nurse, who makes a significant contribution to the care and welfare of our boarders. Indeed, we pride ourselves on the quality of pastoral care provided by our experienced and well-qualified boarding staff.
Lincoln is a perfect city in which to be educated and to live, with such inspirational surroundings and well-documented history and heritage. We are so lucky to have our school and boarding houses located in the middle of such a historical and inspiring environment.
