Boarders' travel and transport
Whilst transfers to and from the Lincoln Minster School are the responsibility of a student's parents or guardians, we are aware that if you are unfamiliar with the UK transport system this can be difficult. We are happy to assist in making travel arrangements, working with you to make sure that transfers happen as smoothly and safely as possible.
If you do require assistance in making boarder transfer travel arrangements, please download our request form and submit it to the School Secretary at least two weeks in advance. We will then collate requests and be in touch with you to discuss options and confirm arrangements. Once agreed, the cost will be added to your termly ‘extras' bill.
Taxis and minibuses can be booked by the School; indeed we can usually get better rates. Fares can be shared where two or more students travel to or from the same destination. Typical fares, each way, are:
