Music is central to life at Lincoln Minster. Whether performing, learning or just enjoying, all our students are involved in musical events at the School or Cathedral and we have a huge selection of choirs and ensembles. Lincoln Minster School also provides choristers for the Lincoln Cathedral Choir and we regularly hold auditions for boys and girls to take up this wonderful opportunity.

In 2011 we opened our brand-new, state-of-the-art Music Hall and Sports Centre. It is a fantastic facility for the whole school and more is planned. “It has always been important to us that both our son and daughter (who left 6 years ago!) be allowed to grow up surrounded by the values that we hold dear as a family. The school's philosophy of developing the whole person has always been very much in sync with home life. Consequently the transition between home and school has always remained seamless and school has just been an extension of our family life for all these years. We have watched our son develop into a confident, well balanced, fun loving young man, discovering and believing more and more in his own abilities... what greater gift can anyone give a child than the ability to truly believe in themselves, their capabilities and their future. The school environment in which he has spent most of his formative years, has nurtured him and allowed him to grow into the person he has become, importantly, allowing his witty, laid back personality to stay intact whilst continuing to learn; I know one or two teachers have found this frustrating at times but have found a way to work with him, much to his benefit.
