Hire our Facilities

Lincoln Minster School has enviable facilities, many of which are available for hire by approved organisations, particularly during the school holidays, evenings and weekends. Standard charges are normally on an hourly basis and rates are revised each year. All users have to show that they have full Public Liability Insurance.  

Sports Hall

The school’s magnificent sports hall is well equipped with nets for a variety of sports and is marked up for indoor tennis, basketball, volleyball, indoor hockey, 5-a-side football, netball and badminton.

Standard charge £30.00 per hour.

Recital Hall and Atrium

With a capacity of 200 - 100 tiered seats and 100 chairs (maximum 205 seated and 30 performers) - and staged, fully retractable seating, this hall is adjacent to a fine atrium ideal for social gatherings. A small kitchen is available but full catering also possible. Disabled access.

Standard charge: £45.00 per hour; £500 per day.

A grand piano is available to hire at a cost of £50 and if required tuning will be charged at £75.

Classrooms

Different sizes and equipped with interactive whiteboards.

Standard charge £20.00 per hour.

Accommodation for groups

Lincoln Minster School has a number of houses all situated in the uphill conservation area of Lincoln within easy walking distance of the quaint Bailgate area around the fine cathedral, a short walk from the city centre. There are several sports clubs within easy walking distance. These boarding houses can accommodate groups of 20 in shared rooms, the largest house up to 40. Available in holiday periods only, contact us for rates.

Conference facilities

In addition to the Recital Hall there are further conference facilities in the Prior Building (holiday periods only) comprising two adjacent rooms housing 60-65 each, and a larger conference hall available in the Music Centre. Both have disabled access.  Contact us for rates.
