Our best GCSE results yet 

Our whole school community is celebrating the wonderful GCSE results we have seen this year.

Our GCSE results are our best on record with grades A*-C at 97% and A*-A grades at 46%.

100% of pupils gained five A*-C passes and the pass rate A*-C was 98% in Mathematics and 96% in English.

It is worth dwelling on the fact that all of this is a remarkable achievement given that this is a truly non-selective intake.

Congratulations to pupils, teachers, parents and friends in achieving so much. Hard work, commitment, excellent teaching and significant support from home really does make a difference. The attention to detail, early intervention, terrific partnership between parents, pupils and the school has really paid dividends. This year we also introduced 43 extra classes per week from January onwards to support learning and to maximise the chances of examination success.

The commitment and drive of pupils, parents and teachers has been vital in achieveing our best GCSE results yet!
