Night of Musical Entertainment

Night of musical entertainment

Music pupils performed at local charity event ‘A Night of Musical Entertainment’ at St Nicholas Church in Lincoln.

The event took place on Saturday 23rd September at St Nicholas Church on Newport in uphill Lincoln.

The event aimed to raise money for charity with all proceeds going to St Barnabas Hospice. It was a wonderful evening with entertainment provided by RAF Military Wives, Bassingham Choir and Lincoln Minster School Choir.

There were also solo performances from Sixth Form pupils – Orlagh playing the cello, and James singing. The grand finale of the event featured all choirs singing Amazing Grace together.

Event Organiser, Tracey Atkins, said:

“A huge thank you to your school choir, who performed at my concert last Saturday night; they were amazing and they sang so beautifully.

“We managed to raise a total of £850 and I can’t thank your school enough. Thank you to all the wonderful pupils, parents and staff who supported this event.”
