Prep

The Preparatory School builds on the firm foundations established in the Pre-Prep and prepares children for Senior School through increased specialist teaching. Situated in the shadow of the Cathedral, which is used for assemblies and concerts, the Prep enjoys interactive whiteboards in all classrooms, its own library, ICT suite, science laboratory, art & DT workshops and dedicated music school.

Your child will be taught to a high standard by our well qualified and enthusiastic staff, be encouraged to work hard and to always give of their best in whatever they undertake. Good manners and responsible behaviour are high on our agenda, and we are constantly striving to ensure that your child is educated in an atmosphere of mutual respect and understanding.

During their four years at the Prep, your child will be offered many opportunities. These include educational visits both in the UK and abroad, leadership roles such as School Council representative, Librarian, House Captain or Sports Captain. The boys and girls of the Cathedral Choir are all members of the Lincoln Minster School.
