A chance to try out new things and develop new skills
At Lincoln Minster Senior School, a full programme of trips, clubs, fixtures and activities complements the taught curriculum and pupils are encouraged to try out new things, develop their skills and supplement their class-based learning.
It is widely felt that personal development is key to a productive, happy and fulfilling life and it's heartening to see the results of that trip to a third-world country, or involvement in a Young Enterprise company, or the opportunity to learn how to sail. Equally importantly, when our young people start writing applications for a university place or a job, their involvement in a variety of clubs, interest groups, expeditions and activities ensures that they have a portfolio to impress!
You'll find some more information on just a few of our clubs and activities in this section of the website - they'll give you a taster of the sort of things we get up to!
