The school has an impressive academic
tradition with excellent examination results. A broad and balanced
curriculum places equal value on cultural, technological, scientific,
linguistic and creative ability.
Most pupils study between 8 and 10 GCSEs.
The National Literacy and Numeracy Strategies are used as a framework for English and Mathematics.
