We are proud to offer our pupils the opportunity to take part in the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award.

From Year 9 adventurous pupils can rise to the challenge of this prestigious award that is recognised by industry and universities alike.

The DofE Award is the world’s leading youth achievement award, giving millions of young people the opportunity to be the very best they can be, encouraging them to gain new experiences and skills, keep fit and give something back.

In Year 9 and 10, pupils can begin their DofE journey by working towards their bronze award which sees them attempt two of four exciting units including developing a skill, physical activity, volunteering and a two-day assessed expedition following specific expedition training.

We also offer the Silver Duke of Edinburgh’s Award to Year 11 pupils and Sixth Form.

Lots of Lincoln Minster School activities count towards the award, meaning that pupils may already have made some progress towards receiving their award!
