Creative pupils from our Pre-Preparatory school entered a competition to design a welcome mat and plaque for their outdoor learning area.
The competition, in partnership with Make an Entrance, saw pupils submit their designs to brighten up the outdoor learning area.
Once collected, competition entries were judged and the winners were named. Year 2’s Emmie won best welcome mat design and Year 1’s Johnathan won best plaque design.
Over the summer holidays the designs have been brought to life; they were presented to the winning pupils in Friday’s assembly.
Deputy Head of the Pre-Preparatory School, Victoria Whitworth, said:
“There’s been a lot of excitement for our amazing outdoor learning space, it has been fantastic to see the mat and plaque designs by Emmie and Jonathan became reality!”
