The whole of Year 3 participated in a ‘Wow Day’ to link in with the topic they are currently studying this term.
We were celebrating some of the things that make Lincolnshire famous with particular reference to farming.
The children learnt to Morris Dance and made their own colourful hats and decorated the sticks they used in their dance. They made soup using the finest Lincolnshire vegetables and made their own recipe booklet. They had the pleasure of tasting some of the vegetable raw during the chopping process, which caused much hilarity. The Lincolnshire Poacher cheese however was a big success.
