Mrs Thomas’ Christmas message

As we come to the end of the Michaelmas Term and Christmas draws closer, it is inevitable that our minds start, albeit briefly, to drift away from the hard work of our day to day school business, to the festive period itself. Not only now at Christmas but throughout the term the spirit of human kindness is alive and well. In the midst of our teaching and learning, preparation for all our festivities, matches, concerts, musical celebrations and community activities, we are mindful of the need to reflect on the true meaning of Christmas.

People all over the world will be celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ and sharing in the joy that this brings. At the Pre-Prep and Prep we have fostered the true spirit and meaning of Christmas through our assemblies, performances and nativities as well as our PSHE work in class.

Being prepared to think of others, of course, is a particular strength of Lincoln Minster School. Raising money for charity is something that our children, staff and parents do readily and willingly. This sense of community is one of the very special things about our school.

I would like to thank you all for your continued support and to wish you and your loved ones a restful Christmas and a New Year of health and happiness.

Best Wishes

Fiona Thomas
