At the beginning of May, Year 4 enjoyed an amazing residential trip to the Newlands Valley in Cumbria.
We wanted to develop our teamwork and independence and to set ourselves ambitious challenges…… oh, and have FUN.
Our challenges included a high ropes course, lots of climbing, bouldering and a ghyll scramble in freezing water! As if that wasn’t enough, our evenings were filled with outdoor games too.
All the children should be commended for their outstanding behaviour, courage, kindness, helpfulness, bravery and for sleeping well!
My grateful thanks to Mrs Harrod, Mrs Farrell and Mr Taylor for their support in making this such a worthwhile and enjoyable trip.
