3. Nationally Recognised Pastoral Care

Our Preparatory school was recently announced as a Finalist in the national Independent Schools of the Year Awards (2022 and 2023) for Student Wellbeing. Ranked 63rd in School Sport’s Top 200 Sporting Schools of 2022, shortlisted in the national Independent Schools of the Year Awards (2022) for Sporting Achievement, ranked top 20 in The Boys LTA National Tennis Rankings (2021/2022) and home to national squash Champions. Our sports offering is fully inclusive and offers a full range of fixtures and access to excellent sporting facilities, including an all-weather hockey pitch, all-weather tennis courts and sailing facilities on the outskirts of Lincoln.

68% of our Year 6 pupils achieved or exceeded the national age-related expectations in reading, writing and maths, compared to 60% across the UK and 58% throughout the East Midlands, Yorkshire and Humber Regions and 56% in Lincolnshire.

We always work closely with the parent community, helping to form a Friends of Lincoln Minster School group, who regularly arrange fundraising activities such as a quiz night, Christmas market parking and summer fairs. We received the Environmental Champions Award at the Lincolnshire Education Awards 2022 and were shortlisted in the national Independent Schools of the Year Awards (2021) for Community Outreach.
