A message from the Head of the School
"Here at Lincoln Minster School, we aim to create a vibrant Christian community in which discipline and hard work are expected and demanded at all levels; where all individuals are cared for and valued, and a sense of worth is felt by all members of the school. We work hard and play hard. So while expectations of academic achievement are high, we are also proud of the opportunities for pupils to explore life beyond the classroom.
"The school is in terrific heart and there is a real sense of optimism and enthusiasm. We are spurred on by so many achievements, outstanding A-level results and the opening of the fabulous new Music School and Sports Hall - buildings for the 21st century, brilliantly designed and a real statement of intent.
"The new boarding house, Eastgate House, and the excitement generated by St. Mary's Preparatory School joining us, have brought even greater impetus. The school is moving into a new, seriously exciting phase.
"As we go forward, there will be a continued thrust to further improve the quality of teaching and pastoral care. We are already very strong indeed in these areas, but there is absolutely no room for complacency; we must continue to develop, improve and strive to ensure that we do achieve ‘the best in everyone'.

A message from the Head of the Preparatory School
"The merger of Lincoln Minster Preparatory School with St Mary's Preparatory School sees the coming together of two Ofsted-outstanding-rated schools to form St Mary's Preparatory School, the Preparatory School of Lincoln Minster. It is a rare and exciting opportunity to combine our excellence and move forward for the betterment of the children in our care.
"As the Headmaster, I am delighted and feel privileged to lead the way forward. Our objective of bringing out the best in everyone will focus on the whole individual, with the child at the centre of what we do, striving to release the potential of all St Mary's children. We aim to develop excellence in their character, learning and skills through a wide range of outstanding opportunities within the academic, musical, dramatic, artistic and sporting arenas."
