Students are challenged and supported to reach their full potential through high-quality teaching. In 2024/25, 35% of Sixth Form students achieved A* to A grades in A-Level and Level 3 qualifications.

Lincoln Minster Sixth Form fosters confidence and independence through a wide range of leadership opportunities, encouraging students to take initiative and make a meaningful contribution to school life and in preparation for life beyond school.
The Sixth Form experience promotes independence and responsibility, offering students the flexibility to manage their own time effectively. With the freedom to enjoy the city of Lincoln and attend school for lessons as required, students develop valuable time management skills and a sense of maturity that supports their transition into higher education and future pathways.
Learning at Lincoln Minster extends beyond the classroom. Sixth Form students enjoy a rich variety of trips and experiences, from exploring London, Rome and New York to taking part in local cultural and social activities that broaden horizons and create lasting memories.
Each student has the option to choose a dedicated tutor for weekly one-to-one sessions, providing consistent academic, personal, and emotional support throughout their Sixth Form journey.
Through the Leading in Lincolnshire Programme, students collaborate with local businesses and professionals, gaining real-world experience and insight. Each student receives individual careers guidance tailored to their aspirations, whether that involves university applications, degree apprenticeships or direct career pathways.
