Whether it's polo, riding or jumping, our Equestrian co-curricular clubs has something for any horse lover. Our classes take place at Leadenham Polo Club througout the year, where pupils are not only be supported by expert staff and teachers, but will also make friends for life.

NSEA Eventers Challenge Championships 2024

Recently our LMS Equestrian Team had the honor of competing at the iconic All England Jumping Course, Hickstead at the NSEA Eventers Challenge Championships. Competitors came from all over the country with more than 70 schools and over 1200 equestrians competing. 

Led by Mrs Hughes- Jones, Isabella W (Yr 10) Phoebe L ( Yr 13) and Rosie J (Yr 8) competed fiercely against very strong competition. 

It was the first time the team had competed together at championship level and whilst they didn't win this time the team gained valuable experience and also had a fantastic time!

With more exciting events to look forward to including LMS being represented at Lincolnshire Show and the NSEA Combined Training Championships in October, LMS equestrians are really showing our school is a force to be reckoned with.

NSEA Arena Eventing Qualifiers 2024

The Equestrian team took part in the NSEA Arena eventing qualifiers at Epworth Equestrian centre on the 28th January and won! They qualified for the Championships which take place in May at Hickstead. 

The team comprised of Pheobe L (Year 13), Isabella W (Year 10), and Rosie J (Year 8). 

Phoebe L and Isabella W also qualified individually for the Championships. The school team were the only team to achieve three clear rounds - such an incredible achievement riding together for the very first time!
