Charlotte is a true academic at heart with a BA in Human Geography from the University of Exeter and an MA in Education. She is currently working to complete her Doctorate, specifically researching pastoral leadership within the independent school sector.

Andy joined Lincoln Minster Preparatory School as Head Teacher in September 2024 after spending 11 successful years as Deputy Head Teacher at a large state school in Lincolnshire. Recently, Andy completed the 'Leading an Independent School' course and achieved the National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH) in September 2023.
With extensive experience in senior leadership spanning over 20 years, Andy has led on all aspects of school provision, including pastoral care, safeguarding, performance data, and quality of education. His primary focus is to embrace the school’s priority for its pupils to be happy and to achieve – in that order. He firmly believes that an aspirational culture, which champions all children and is underpinned by nurturing pastoral support, must be at the heart of a child’s education. To put it simply, if a child is to fulfil their potential, they must feel safe, valued and be happy.
Andy is dedicated to providing an outstanding education that empowers children to excel academically while also equipping them with the personal skills and attitudes needed for lifelong success. Valuing the positive benefits of the wider curriculum and co-curricular clubs on children’s personal development, Andy understands that education extends beyond the classroom. He enjoys being actively involved in this broader offer and, over the last 20 years, has led numerous trips, residential visits, school sports teams and a range of co-curricular clubs.

He worked closely with Christ’s College, Cambridge to support Oxbridge entry and continues to champion high aspirations for all pupils.
Before joining Lincoln Minster, Nicholas taught in London state schools, where he was a successful Head of History and Head of Politics. He graduated with honours in History and Landscape Archaeology from the University of East Anglia and later completed an MA in Education with Distinction at the University of Warwick. His interests extend beyond the classroom to the broader cultural dimensions of education, including art, literature and music.

Discovering the impact of evidence-informed practice broadened her aspirations beyond the classroom and shaped her commitment to developing a reflective, collaborative and ambitious culture among staff.
