National Squash Success

The Senior Squash teams have made the school proud with their outstanding performances in the national arena.

Leading the pack, the KS5 Girls have secured an incredible 4th place in England, demonstrating their skill and determination on the court. Not far behind, our KS5 Boys team have claimed an equally impressive 6th national place, followed by our KS4 Girls team who landed a top 10 national place, finishing in 7th.

Ms Wallis, LMS Squash Coach said: “I have been coaching at LMS for over 40 years. Each year the passion for the squash grows.

“For the past 10 years LMS have entered the National Schools’ Championships with at least 6 teams in different stages, both girls and boys taking part (and introduction of a mixed team this year).”

Priyaa, LMS pupil and under 15s national top 10 player, added: “I take great pride in being a member of LMS Squash national teams. I cherish the memory of our KS3 team being National Champions in 2022.

“Recently, I have been invited by England Squash to be part of National Bridging squad… All this is possible due to my training with Fran and Carolyn.”

As the achievements pour in, the Senior School continues to celebrate the success of its squash teams, highlighting the talent and dedication that define the school's sporting spirit.

Congratulations to all the athletes on their impressive achievements!
