The achievements of our pupils positions us as one of the top independent schools in the East Midlands.
We do not believe, however, that results alone show the true measure of a school. We are committed to the individual needs and enthusiasms of each child. It is far more important that each individual achieves his or her very best.
A truly excellent education is about much more than academic achievement alone: it is also about developing a passion for learning, capacity for independent thinking, moral values, self-confidence without arrogance, and a broad range of interests that extend beyond the confines of the classroom. In short, it is developing the whole person, to ensure that each pupil leaves here ready for the challenges that lie ahead.
The ‘LMS 2020 GCSE & A Level Revision Schedule‘ is now available to all parents and students for reference. On a rolling fortnightly pattern, over 200 revision sessions from across all subjects are now on offer to Year 11 and Year 13 students in order to further support them with their examination preparation. These revision sessions will commence on Monday 13th January and will run all the way through to Friday 15th May (for Year 11) and Friday 22nd May (for Year 13). This offer, and the distribution of subject sessions, affords all students excellent opportunities to gain additional benefits from targeted learning, revision and past paper analysis. Please do encourage your son/daughter to attend as many of these valuable sessions as possible over the coming months. As ever, thank you for your support.
