at Lincoln Minster School
We are ambitious to develop the character of all our students, truly educating ‘the whole child’ and giving everyone opportunities to serve, lead and thrive.
Everything that we do in school is underpinned by the values we promote: Ambition – Respect – Confidence – Creativity – Determination – Enthusiasm.
We are developing and expanding our character education programme at Lincoln Minster School. We believe that good character education is embedded across our whole school community, as our pupils seek opportunities to serve, to lead and to improve the wellbeing of all. We expect all our pupils to contribute not only to the school community but also to take up the many opportunities to serve wider society, in Lincoln and beyond. We ask our students to try new activities, to show persistence in the face of challenges and to develop inner resilience as they tackle and overcome any difficulties.
Supporting our academic curriculum, we provide exceptional opportunities for our pupils to engage with a wide range of co-curricular clubs and activities, to enjoy an enriching range of trips within the UK and abroad, to benefit from our partnerships with local universities, businesses, sports clubs and charities, to hear inspiring presentations and talks from speakers in all walks of life, to enjoy our partnerships with the English Speaking Union, with the TEDxBrayfordPool series and to engage with the many exciting initiatives offered by the United Learning group of schools across the country.
Lincoln Minster School pupils who have benefitted from and been inspired by our distinct Education with Character leave us ready to face the challenges that life brings. They leave us with a strong set of personal values, giving them an inner compass to guide them through their adult lives.
