Schorlarships are offered at entry to Years 7, 9 and 12 for both exisiting pupils and external applicants. Applications are accepted in the November prior to entry with an assessment taking place the following January.

We are proud to offer scholarships across a variety if subjects including:

  • Academic –  An exam covering English and Maths, and include general aptitude tests
  • Art – Outstanding artistic ability and commitment
  • Drama – Assessment based on audition
  • Music – Musicians with a minimum standard required per age group, assessment based on audition
  • Sport – District or County level

Pupils may apply for more than one discipline, however, pupils cannot apply for all scholarship disciplines and they will be asked to explain their choice of discipline if applying for multiple disciplines.

Lincoln Minster School seeks to promote accessibility by making alternative payment submission options available through both our Scholarship programme and means tested bursaries as appropriate.

Investing in Lincoln Minster School

At Lincoln Minster we understand that investing into an independent school education is a significant expenditure and recognise the support we have to offer.

Fees for Education at Lincoln Minster School depend on multiple factors and whether the pupil is a Day pupil or a Boarder. 

A discount of 5% will be applied for the second child which gets boosted to 10% for the third child onwards.

We have been mindful of the financial pressures on families as we establish our fees for the forthcoming year.
In line with our commitment to strive for the best value for money, each component of our budget across our schools has been reviewed to ensure every piece of expenditure is absolutely necessary and delivers the best value and educational impact.

• Public examination fees • Additional charges may be made for some items of equipment, services, activities and extra-curricular provision as required and notified in advance.

In accordance with our policy, a full terms notice is required in writing to the Head for any notices of departure or major changes to student status concerning boarding arrangements.

Fees Assistance

United Learning offers a fees cover scheme and various insurances for your child’s time with us.  These are entirely optional.

There are a number of options available to families who require assistance with fees; these include bursaries and trust funding.
