Record-Breaking A Level Results at Lincoln Minster School

Lincoln Minster School is celebrating a record-breaking year of A Level success, with students achieving outstanding results that reflect their determination and the dedicated support from our talented teaching staff.

We're incredibly proud to share that 35% of all A Level and Level 3 grades awarded were A*/A. An impressive 84% of grades fell within the A*-C range, with a
remarkable Value Added score of +0.4 – meaning students on average achieved significantly higher grades at Lincoln Minster than predicted by national testing. This record-breaking progress highlights the impact of the high-quality teaching and pastoral
 support at the school.

Jon Tyler, Head of Lincoln Minster School, praised both students and staff:

“I am delighted with this year’s results, which are a fitting reward for the considerable efforts of our students and staff. I would also like to thank parents for the support and encouragement that they have provided over the last few years at LMS.

We wish all of our leaving pupils the absolute best as they build on their successes here and embark on a variety of exciting future paths.”

This year’s leavers are heading to prestigious destinations including Durham University, the University of York, the University of St Andrews, and Newcastle University. Many will go on to study competitive courses in fields ranging from Computer Science
and Maths to Business and Psychology.

The whole Lincoln Minster School community is incredibly proud of the Class of 2025. We look forward to following them through our Alumni Programme as Old Minsterians and seeing what they go on to achieve in the future.

To learn more, individual tours are available to book through the Lincoln Minster School website. Alternatively, families can book on to the upcoming Open Day which will take place on October 2nd and 3rd.
