Fran Wallis represented England this weekend at the England Squash Masters Home Internationals.

Fran, who works as a Squash Coach at Lincoln Minster School, played Wales, Scotland and Ireland as part of the Home International competition, successfully beating all opponents.

Fran and her team beat Wales 5-0, Ireland 5-0 and Scotland 4-1 making them Home International Champions.

Fran Wallis, England representative for England Squash Masters, said: "This is the 23rd year I’ve represented England in Squash and each time I feel incredibly proud and honoured.

“I don’t just play for England, but also my City. I’m a proud Lincolnite and have a passion for putting Lincoln on the sporting map.”

The latest development comes after Fran lead her Lincoln Minster School Key Stage Three team to become national champions.

Pryaa, one of the Key Stage Three champions, who was also recently selected for the Aspire Programme, which is the first step on the England Squash Talent Pathway for developing players, added: “We had our fingers crossed for Fran at the weekend. She’s an amazing coach and we know she puts her heart and soul into every game she plays for the country.

“I’ve played squash since I was seven years old and in these six years I have enjoyed, progressed and achieved many accomplishments with the help of Mrs Wallis”.
