At Lincoln Minster School we are committed to offering the very best quality of teaching, learning and academic support. We aim to make sure that each pupil reaches their personal best by providing an enriching, engaging and challenging study programme.
Our pupils’ achievements in A-level examinations position us as one of the top independent co-educational day and boarding schools in Lincolnshire. However, we believe that the personal achievement of each pupil is much more important and their results ensure that we are highly ranked in the ’Added Value’ tables.
We do not believe that raw results alone show the true measure of a school. We are committed to the individual needs and enthusiasms of each child. It is far more important that each individual achieves his or her very best. A truly excellent education is about much more than academic achievement alone: it is also about developing a passion for learning, capacity for independent thinking, moral values, self-confidence without arrogance, and a broad range of interests that extend beyond the confines of the classroom.
In short, it is developing the whole person, to ensure that each pupil leaves here ready for the challenges that lie ahead.
