IT Technician

Required: As Soon As Possible

Lincoln Minster School is an independent, co-educational day and boarding school for students aged 2 to 18. The school is set in the heart of Lincoln’s historic Cathedral quarter.

We have a great opportunity for an IT professional to join our small and dedicated IT support team. We are seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated IT Technician to provide a high-level IT service to staff and pupils across our three school sites. You will work under the guidance of our experienced Network and Systems Manager, supporting day to day tasks and routines.

Experience of maintaining computer and print hardware systems is essential, along with experience of Microsoft Windows desktop operating systems, Apple iOS, MacOS and associated hardware, anti-virus products and Microsoft Office 365.

The successful candidate will be a strong team player, possess excellent communication and technical skills, apply an analytical approach to solving problems, and adopt a flexible working attitude to work to deadlines and demands as required.

Candidates must have previous experience within an IT support environment. Experience in an educational environment is desirable, but not essential.

The salary is £18,135 – £20,000, dependent on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we also provide our staff with a hot meal everyday from our award-winning catering team, refreshments during daily break, access to an employee rewards and benefits scheme, CPD opportunities and an annual leave entitlement of 25 days per annum.
