Specialist Teaching in a Vibrant Atmosphere
The experience of performing to an audience can be life-changing.
Working as a cast, in which the finished product is more important than the individual ego, is empowering and confidence building. The discipline required, whether it is a performer, technician or designer, is excellent preparation for the world beyond school. Our specialist teachers encourage a sense of professionalism and production values, which results in work of very high quality. It is also huge fun and an unforgettable part of school life for those involved.

All year groups are encouraged to get involved.
We believe that every child, whatever their ability or natural aptitude, should be able to enjoy drama and performance. Past productions have included adaptations of The Odyssey, and Ernie’s Incredible Illucinations, by Alan Aykbourne; Shakespeare productions at Lincoln Drill including Hamlet, Macbeth, King Lear, Romeo and Juliet, A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Twelfth Night; Our Country’s Good; Guys & Dolls; West Side Story; Pillars of the Community; Oliver! The Crucible; A Christmas Carol; and Pride and Prejudice.
Set, lighting and sound are designed and operated by students. We pride ourselves on promoting professional production values and inclusivity. All plays are chosen to suit the abilities and strengths of those involved.
London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts
We also offer the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts (LAMDA) programme and pupils from as young as Year 1 are regularly entered for examination in Verse and Prose, Acting and Devised Performance.
